Before reading about Angeline’s lore, it would be better to first read about the origins of the Wisteria clan!!!
ANGELINE WISTERIA

Full Name: Angeline Wisteria
Aliases: Hidden Empress of Ruin, Ice Queen
Age: 17
Birthday: December 9th
Height: 170 cm
Blood Type: O
Affiliation: Easton Magic Academy, Wisteria Family
Status: Active
Angeline Wisteria is a second-year student at Easton Magic Academy, known as one of the most exceptional prodigies of her generation and the current bearer of Sovereign Umbra, whose most notable traits are her overwhelming magical pressure, ruthless perfectionism, and sharp-tongued personality.
Appearance
Angeline has indigo-purple hair that falls to her upper back, with a single long central fringe that can sway to either side depending on her movement. The rest of her hair frames her face softly, while two thin braids at the back merge into one before trailing down. On each side of her head, just behind her ears, she wears white, butterfly-shaped ornaments, giving her silhouette a delicate yet iconic look. Two small ahoge sit atop her head, adding a subtle contrast to her otherwise refined appearance. Her eyes are one of her most defining features: each iris possesses a unique magical pattern. Her right eye (left from the viewer's POV) contains a glowing mandala-like sigil, layered with petal shapes and dotted lines that radiate from the center like a sacred glyph. Her left eye (right from the viewer’s POV) displays a mauveine iris with scattered glitter, crossed by thin geometric lines, and marked with the faint silhouette of a butterfly at its core. Below her right eye lies her magic mark two vertical lines, with the longer one extending into a small butterfly-wing motif accompanied by a single beauty mark. Together, these traits give Angeline an elegant, mystical presence that sets her apart from anyone around her.She wears the formal Adler Dormitory cloak, but unlike her peers, she carries herself more like a high-ranking military officer than a student. Her resting expression is one of calculated apathy, almost daring others to approach her and regret it.
Personality
Angeline is known for her intense emotional restraint, razor-sharp intellect, and an almost unnerving composure that instinctively makes others keep their distance. Raised under Lucius’s unwavering belief that only perfection can prevent ruin, she developed a mindset in which flaws are never seen as harmless imperfections, but as weaknesses that should be corrected immediately or discarded entirely. This has made her exceptionally critical toward everything around her, from magical technique to behavior, and she rarely hesitates to voice her judgment when something falls below her standards. Her words are often calm yet strikingly sharp, delivered with a precision that can feel far harsher than open anger, and she is particularly known for openly belittling, mocking, or verbally tearing apart anything she considers careless, mediocre, or embarrassingly inadequate. Rather than concealing her disdain, Angeline often expresses it through cutting remarks, cold sarcasm, and blunt insults that leave little room for argument, which is why many at Easton Magic Academy describe speaking with her as if standing before someone who can expose every flaw they possess within seconds. It is this combination of cold composure, aristocratic poise, and merciless honesty that earned her the nickname Ice Queen, a title that reflects not only her distant demeanor but also the way she can effortlessly roast, dismiss, or humiliate anything she deems unworthy without ever needing to raise her voice. Although many are initially captivated by her beauty and elegance, admiration often turns into caution once they experience the pressure of her presence directly. Yet beneath the discipline, sarcasm, cruelty in speech, and perfectionism lies a side of Angeline that has never entirely disappeared, only buried beneath years of training, expectation, and the belief that emotions are liabilities she cannot afford to indulge.
History
Past
As the second child born from the union of Celestine Wisteria and Lucius, Angeline’s birth immediately altered the future of House Wisteria itself. While the birth of Ignatius Wisteria had already been regarded as the arrival of a mage with extraordinary combat potential, the manifestation of Angeline’s magic carried implications far greater than ordinary family expectations. From a very early age, the elders of House Wisteria recognized that her magical structure was fundamentally different. She inherited not only Sovereign Umbra, the ancient dominion magic that had appeared exclusively in the War Empresses of Wisteria for generations, but also displayed clear resonance with Luminous Aether Magic, the rare lineage carried by Lucius. The convergence of these two ancient systems created a magical balance that was remarkably stable yet inherently dangerous, marking Angeline from the beginning as a successor whose potential could surpass every generation before her.To Celestine, that reality was never something to celebrate. Having spent her own life shaped by inherited duty and raised as a symbol of war, she quietly wished her daughter would never be forced to carry the same burden. But to Lucius, Angeline’s birth only confirmed something he had long understood about the magical world itself. Power of that scale would never be allowed to exist without attracting conflict, ambition, and danger. He had witnessed how extraordinary strength inevitably became the center of political tension, how even minor instability could evolve into catastrophe, and how fragile magical society truly was when entrusted to power without complete control. From that understanding, he gradually formed the conviction that would become the foundation of his entire method of raising her.Only perfection is capable of preventing ruin.Lucius did not raise Angeline harshly out of cruelty, nor because he wished to create another weapon. He did so because he believed that someone carrying power of Angeline’s magnitude could not be allowed to grow within ordinary standards. A small mistake in an ordinary child might remain a personal failure, but in someone who carried two ancient bloodlines, even a single error could escalate into something far more destructive. For that reason, from an age far too young to understand the weight of responsibility, Angeline was raised within a system of discipline that left almost no room for an ordinary childhood. She was not taught merely how to wield magic, but how to judge and understand every form it could take. Lucius regularly exposed her to damaged magical artifacts, unstable curse residues, and distorted magical phenomena, requiring her to observe their structures, explain the nature of the energy involved, and determine the most precise method of neutralizing them without losing composure. In Lucius’s philosophy, a true Wisteria successor could not afford to understand magic only in its ideal form. She had to recognize failure, distortion, and destruction from the beginning, so that nothing in the real world would ever surprise her.Even when unstable mana created painful pressure throughout a room, or forbidden artifacts emitted disruptive magical interference, Angeline was expected to maintain her posture, control her breathing, and answer with an unwavering voice. If discomfort appeared in her expression, the exercise began again. If concentration faltered, evaluation restarted from the beginning. Lucius believed that a true successor must remain composed even when standing in the center of disorder.Alongside magical training, Angeline also received aristocratic education under equally severe standards. She was taught to speak with precision, restrain visible emotion, understand the hierarchy of elite magical families, and conduct herself in formal gatherings with a level of composure rarely expected of children her age. In every setting, she was expected to appear flawless, because to Lucius, family image was inseparable from discipline itself. The constant pressure of those standards gradually shaped the way Angeline perceived the world. She grew to believe that anything performed half-heartedly was a form of failure unworthy of acceptance. This developed into an exceptionally sharp way of evaluating everything around her, even in situations most people would consider insignificant. If she noticed flaws in magical technique, speech, or judgment, Angeline never felt the need to conceal her assessment. As she grew older and her name began spreading among magical families, a title slowly emerged around her.Ice Queen. The title did not arise solely because of her calm expression or the emotional distance she naturally maintained, but also because of the way she treated anything that failed to meet her standards. Angeline never hesitated to criticize magical techniques she considered careless, dismiss decisions she viewed as inefficient, or deliver cold remarks toward anything she deemed beneath the level of quality it should have possessed. Her words were rarely spoken with raised emotion, yet precisely because they were delivered with complete calm, they often cut more sharply than open hostility. To many, speaking with Angeline felt like standing before someone capable of identifying every flaw within seconds.Yet because she herself lived under the same unforgiving standards, her criticism never came across as empty arrogance. She demanded excellence because she had never been allowed leniency toward failure herself. As time passed, her training evolved into direct involvement in magical incidents. Whenever mana disturbances or dangerous magical artifacts appeared within territories under House Wisteria’s influence, Angeline began handling them personally. She confronted magical creatures born from illegal experimentation, suppressed unstable mana distortions threatening inhabited regions, and on several occasions directly faced mages attempting to exploit forbidden curses.Unlike many heirs known only because of their family names, Angeline became publicly recognized because her presence was visibly tied to real conflict resolution. Yet her reputation was never built solely on power. Her elegant appearance, face almost too beautiful for conflict, and unmistakable aristocratic aura caused immediate fascination wherever she appeared. Many young mages admired her beauty, and some became captivated after seeing her only once during formal gatherings or hearing her name mentioned among elite circles. But admiration was always accompanied by something else. The magical pressure surrounding Angeline made even older mages instinctively cautious. Whenever she used magic, shadows moved with oppressive authority, while the mana she released carried a pressure that made others instinctively keep their distance. Most people saw only her beauty, her reputation, and her cold composure. Very few truly understood what existed beneath that stillness. Among the elite magical families, however, another title gradually emerged.Hidden Empress of Ruin. That title was born from the understanding that Angeline was not merely another successor of House Wisteria. The combination of Sovereign Umbra, a power built upon destructive dominion, and Luminous Aether Magic, a force rooted in stabilization and purification, created a potential never before witnessed in the lineage. If Celestine had been known as the War Empress capable of ending wars, Angeline represented something far more extreme. She possessed power not only capable of destroying threats. She possessed power that, in theory, could determine whether something deserved preservation or annihilation. For that reason, the title did not simply refer to destruction itself, but to the concealed authority within her, an authority that one day might alter the balance of the magical world entirely.By the time she entered Easton Magic Academy, her name was already known. To some students, she was simply the beautiful heir of a prestigious family. To others, she was the young mage whose power had already become part. But to House Wisteria, her presence at Easton meant something far greater. For the first time, the active successor of the Wisteria lineage had entered the center of a new magical generation while carrying every expectation placed upon her since childhood. And without most people realizing it, the girl they admired so easily was slowly becoming something far beyond an ordinary heir.
Easton Enrollment Arc
By the time Mash Burnedead officially entered Easton Magic Academy as a first-year student alongside Finn Ames, Lance Crown, Dot Barrett, and Lemon Irvine, Angeline Wisteria had already been widely recognized throughout the academy as the most outstanding second-year student of Adler Dorm. Her reputation was not built solely upon the prestige of House Wisteria, but upon achievements that even Easton’s faculty openly acknowledged: for an entire academic year she maintained the highest academic ranking in the academy while simultaneously holding the top score in practical magic performance among all active students. Unlike many elite students whose names remained tied primarily to noble lineage, Angeline’s standing had been established through nearly flawless examination records, extraordinary magical precision, and repeated involvement in magical incidents serious enough to draw the attention of senior faculty members. Within Adler itself, her presence occupied an almost unspoken position. She was not merely regarded as an upperclassman, but as the academy’s internal standard, to the point where many instructors quietly used her results as a benchmark when evaluating other students. For that reason, by the beginning of the new term, nearly every student already familiar with Easton had heard of Angeline long before meeting her directly. Finn knew her as Adler’s highest-ranking second-year student, Dot recognized her name from constant discussions about the beautiful yet terrifying senior everyone avoided provoking, Lemon had heard of her as the student who inevitably drew attention during every practical evaluation, and Lance, as one of Adler’s most prominent first-years, had long been aware of both her reputation and her position within the academy. The only person who genuinely did not know who Angeline was happened to be Mash, whose complete unfamiliarity with Easton’s hierarchy, noble families, and student reputations made him entirely indifferent to distinctions that others immediately understood.Their first encounter happened in one of Adler’s corridors, where Angeline’s mere presence altered the atmosphere before a single word was spoken. Conversations naturally lowered, several students instinctively stepped aside, and attention shifted toward her with almost practiced reflex, drawn by the combination of her beauty, aristocratic composure, and the unnaturally perfect calm she carried. Finn recognized her immediately, Dot stiffened the moment he realized who had appeared, and even Lemon lowered her voice without thinking. Mash, however, simply looked at her the same way he would look at any other student, showing no visible reaction at all. When Angeline finally spoke, the reason behind the title Ice Queen became immediately clear. Her perfectionism left no room for softness in judgment, and she never saw any reason to conceal criticism when something failed to meet her standards. Careless magical execution, inefficient thinking, and immature behavior almost always received direct commentary from her, often expressed through cold mockery, sharp insults, or open disdain delivered with complete calm. She had little hesitation in verbally tearing apart anything she considered mediocre, and because her tone never rose, her words often felt colder than open anger itself. Dot nearly reacted immediately when faced with her cutting remarks, Finn chose silence because he already understood the reputation of her tongue, while Lemon instinctively kept her distance despite her admiration.Mash, on the other hand, responded with the same blank indifference he showed toward everything unfamiliar around him, but even that did not earn Angeline’s interest. To Angeline, first-year students remained part of ordinary academy movement, still too insignificant to deserve particular attention, and she had no reason to care whether one of them reacted differently from the rest. After delivering her remark, she simply continued walking as though the brief encounter held no meaning at all.At this stage of the story, Angeline remained a figure already firmly established above ordinary student dynamics, a second-year student whose existence represented a standard few could approach. Behind her reputation as Adler’s finest student, certain circles within Easton had already begun using another title when referring to her: Hidden Empress of Ruin, a name reserved for those who understood that beneath the beauty, composure, and merciless sharpness of her words, there existed something far greater than mere talent.
MAGIC & ABILITIES
Venatrix Magic (ヴェナトリクス魔法): Venatrix Magic is Angeline’s signature magic, an assassin-type combat system specialized in speed, precision, and close-range elimination. Unlike conventional offensive magic that relies on large-scale destructive force, Venatrix Magic emphasizes controlled movement, rapid execution, and exact strikes aimed at both physical vital points and the opponent’s mana flow. Angeline’s wand can transform into a sword, allowing her to fight directly with movements refined enough to resemble an assassin rather than an ordinary magician. In standard combat, the weapon remains in a singular blade form and is primarily used to inflict physical damage through highly precise swordsmanship.
Venatrix, Severing Waltz: An advanced form of Venatrix Magic in which Angeline’s sword separates into multiple modular blades connected through her mana. Each blade moves independently under her control and is designed to sever the opponent’s mana flow directly. Once contact is made, the target’s magical circulation becomes unstable, often causing temporary spell interruption similar to magical paralysis.
Venatrix, Papilio Venenum: A poisonous variation of Venatrix Magic created through Angeline’s own potion experimentation. When activated, the blades are coated with magical toxin, producing violet butterfly-like mana around the weapon’s trajectory. The toxin damages not only the body but also gradually destabilizes the target’s mana, making repeated exposure increasingly dangerous.
Aegis Null (イージス・ヌル): Aegis Null is a hidden transparent defensive barrier with a diameter of approximately five meters surrounding Angeline’s body. The barrier functions as a highly compressed mana wall that remains nearly invisible to the naked eye. Aegis Null, Silent Dominion: Any physical object, magical attack, or external force colliding with the domain is immediately shattered or halted by the density of compressed mana. While active, Angeline remains inside a space that functions almost like untouchable glass.
Chrono Oculus (クロノ・オクルス): Chrono Oculus is a rare ocular ability located in Angeline’s right eye that allows her to read mana fluctuations before events fully occur. Chrono Oculus, Fivefold Sight: By observing mana flow, Angeline can perceive approximately five seconds into the future, allowing her to anticipate movement, spell activation, and attack direction with extreme accuracy.
Panacea Arcanum (パナケイア・アルカナム): Panacea Arcanum is a high-order healing magic capable of directly restoring damaged biological and magical structures. Unlike ordinary healing spells that merely accelerate recovery, Panacea Arcanum repairs the source of illness, poison, internal collapse, and mana instability itself.
Panacea Arcanum, Vitae Restoration: A restorative spell that neutralizes toxins, repairs internal injuries, and stabilizes damaged mana circulation.
Panacea Arcanum, Absolute Cure: The highest form of Panacea Arcanum, capable of healing severe magical diseases, chronic mana collapse, and conditions considered nearly irreversible.
Euphorion Blessing (ユーフォリオン・ブレッシング): A support-type amplification spell that allows Angeline to transfer her magical energy into another target and temporarily elevate that person’s mana output beyond its normal capacity. Unlike ordinary recovery magic, this spell directly synchronizes mana circulation, increasing spell stability, reaction speed, and magical efficiency simultaneously.
Umbra Legion (アンブラ・レギオン): Umbra Legion is Angeline’s shadow summoning magic, allowing her to manifest dark entities as extensions of her own will. Unlike ordinary summoning spells, Umbra Legion operates through shadow extraction, meaning the shadows of creatures or opponents defeated by Angeline can be bound to her mana and summoned again as shadow soldiers. These shadows retain their original basic form, combat instinct, and part of their physical capabilities, but remain completely subordinate to Angeline’s command. Each successfully extracted shadow becomes a permanent part of her legion as long as its mana core remains intact. As a result, the stronger the enemies Angeline has defeated, the greater the variation of strength within her Umbra Legion.
Umbra Legion, Tenebris Host: A large-scale summoning spell that allows Angeline to deploy multiple shadows simultaneously across the battlefield. These shadows can move through darkness, merge with surrounding shadows, and attack from unpredictable angles, gradually turning the battlefield itself into territory under her control.
Sovereign Umbra (ソヴリン・アンブラ): Sovereign Umbra is the forbidden bloodline magic of House Wisteria and Angeline’s true trump card. Unlike ordinary shadow magic, this technique invokes primordial darkness itself and places the entire surrounding area under overwhelming mana pressure. Once activated, shadows across the battlefield lose their ordinary form and begin consuming surrounding mana, causing enemy spells to destabilize.
Sovereign Umbra: Nyx Cataclysm: The highest manifestation of Sovereign Umbra, which summons Nyx, the primordial goddess of night from Greek mythology. In this state, a colossal divine figure resembling the goddess appears behind Angeline as the direct embodiment of primordial darkness. The manifestation of Nyx is not merely visual, but acts as an additional source of domination that expands mana pressure throughout the entire area. All shadows within its radius become living entities, enemy mana begins collapsing under extreme pressure, and every attack released by Angeline gains destructive amplification far beyond normal limits. Because of its overwhelming scale and proximity to ancient cursed magic, this technique is rarely used even by Angeline herself.
Imperium Umbra: Astra Coronis (インペリウム・ウンブラ・アストラ・コロニス): The evolved form of Sovereign Umbra: Nyx Cataclysm, activated when Angeline’s primordial shadow magic reaches complete stabilization instead of destruction. Upon activation, two ethereal crowns appear above the designated pair, symbolizing the Empress and the Emperor. The Emperor becomes the focal point of the spell’s mana flow and receives unlimited magical amplification while both users share fully synchronized magical output.

RELATIONSHIPS
Lucius Wisteria: Lucius Wisteria is Angeline’s father and the person who shaped most of her worldview from childhood. Believing that only perfection can prevent collapse, he raised Angeline under strict discipline and treated weakness as something that had to be removed rather than tolerated. Although his methods were severe, Angeline understands that much of what she became was built directly under his expectations.
Celestine Wisteria: Celestine Wisteria is Angeline’s mother and the previous bearer of the Wisteria burden. Although Celestine once wished that her daughter would never inherit the same fate, Angeline ultimately became the one who inherited that role in a far stronger form, including magical abilities that surpassed even her mother’s generation.
Ignatius Wisteria: Ignatius Wisteria is Angeline’s older brother. While he possesses exceptional magical power, he did not inherit the central burden carried by Angeline. Their relationship is defined by quiet understanding rather than open affection, as both were raised under similar expectations but directed toward different destinies.
Aziel Veylance: Aziel Veylance is a second-year student of Easton Magic Academy who unilaterally considers Angeline his academic rival, constantly aiming to surpass her in both magical performance and academic ranking. Despite repeatedly competing for first place within their year, Aziel has never succeeded in defeating Angeline, as she has consistently remained above him in both practical and theoretical results. While Aziel openly treats their competition seriously, Angeline herself has never fully regarded him as a true rival, often responding to his efforts with indifference. Unlike most students who keep their distance because of Angeline’s overwhelming reputation, Aziel is one of the few who interacts with her normally and approaches her without hesitation. He openly harbors romantic feelings for Angeline and is also the fiancé chosen by Lucius Wisteria, making his presence in Angeline’s life both personal and political.
Lance Crown: Lance initially regarded Angeline as one of Adler Dorm’s most untouchable upperclassmen, admiring her magical ability and academic excellence while remaining focused on finding a way to save Anna Crown. After the conflict against Innocent Zero, Angeline defeated Epidem and later cured the victims of the mana-draining virus, including Anna, as part of the responsibility imposed upon her as a force maintaining magical stability. From that point onward, Lance’s gratitude gradually developed into intense emotional attachment.
Mash Burnedead: Mash initially viewed Angeline as simply another upperclassman, largely because he had no understanding of Easton’s internal hierarchy. Angeline also paid little attention to him at first, seeing no reason to distinguish him from other first-year students.
Finn Ames: Finn sees Angeline as one of the most intimidating upperclassmen in Adler Dorm because of her reputation, strict standards, and sharp way of speaking.
Dot Barrett: Because of Angeline’s beauty, elegance, and academic excellence, Dot quickly became one of her strongest admirers. Although his reaction resembles the exaggerated enthusiasm he often shows toward girls, his feelings remain closer to admiration than genuine romantic attachment.
Lemon Irvine: Lemon views Angeline with admiration and caution, especially because her elegance and overwhelming magical presence make her stand out even among upperclassmen.
Wahlberg Baigan: Wahlberg Baigan, the headmaster of Easton Magic Academy, views Angeline with unusual warmth compared to most students. Having witnessed the burden placed upon her as the current wielder of the Wisteria legacy, he often treats Angeline as though she were his own granddaughter. While he respects her strength and composure, he also quietly feels sympathy for the heavy responsibility she carries, which leads him to show her a gentler attitude than he normally would toward other students.
Orter Mádl: Orter Mádl, one of the current Divine Visionaries, respects Angeline’s abilities and discipline. Although he rarely shows emotion openly, he tends to treat her with a level of familiarity that resembles how an older brother might treat a younger sister. Without fully realizing it himself, his interactions with Angeline occasionally carry a protective tone despite his normally strict and authoritative demeanor.
Rayne Ames: The prefect of Adler Dorm and a Divine Visionary known as the Sword Cane, is aware of Angeline’s reputation as one of the most exceptional students within Easton Magic Academy. While Rayne rarely expresses his thoughts openly, he acknowledges Angeline’s abilities and discipline with quiet respect. Due to his position as Adler’s prefect, he occasionally observes her progress within the academy and tends to treat her with a calm familiarity that reflects his recognition of her potential as a powerful magician.
Divine Visionaries: The other members of the Divine Visionary generally regard Angeline with respect and admiration due to her exceptional magical ability and reputation within Easton. While they rarely interact with her casually, they consistently treat her with politeness and acknowledge her potential as a magician capable of standing among the highest ranks in the magical world.

Wisteria Lineage Lore
Long before the establishment of modern magic academies, the magical world was not maintained by institutions, but by several ancient bloodlines entrusted with preserving balance within magical society. Among the most feared and respected of these lineages was the House of Wisteria, an ancient aristocratic family whose name had endured for centuries. The name Wisteria itself was drawn from the violet flower long associated with nobility, prestige, longevity, and inherited power in many cultures, particularly in Japan, where wisteria became a symbol closely tied to aristocratic families and enduring lineage. Because of this symbolism, the Wisteria family came to represent authority, continuity, and a legacy built upon generations of power.Unlike ordinary noble families, the Wisteria lineage existed for a singular purpose. In every generation, only one female heir would inherit the family’s primary power and title. This successor was known as the War Empress of Wisteria, a figure raised not as an ordinary child, but as a living weapon destined to intervene whenever magical conflicts threatened the balance of the world. From early childhood, the chosen heir was trained to suppress emotion, abandon personal desire, and master a form of ancient dominion magic known as Sovereign Umbra.Sovereign Umbra was regarded as one of the oldest recorded forms of battlefield magic, a power centered on dominion over shadow, destructive pressure, and magical suppression. Its user could manipulate shadows as physical constructs, distort the surrounding magical atmosphere, and overwhelm opponents by exerting complete control over the battlefield itself. At its highest level, Sovereign Umbra evolved into an advanced domain technique known as Dominion Field, in which the caster transformed an entire area into a territory governed solely by their magical authority. Within that domain, enemy movement, magical output, and even environmental pressure could be controlled at will, making the War Empress a force capable of ending large-scale conflicts alone. In the current generation, the heir of this lineage was Celestine Wisteria, daughter of the previous War Empress. From a very young age, Celestine demonstrated extraordinary mastery over Sovereign Umbra, reaching levels of control that even previous successors had struggled to attain. By adolescence, she had already intervened in several major magical conflicts and established herself as a figure feared across the magical world. Her ability to dominate battlefields with overwhelming precision earned her the title The Violet War Empress, a name spoken with equal parts reverence and fear.As the principal heir of House Wisteria, Celestine’s future marriage was never considered a purely personal matter. The elders of the clan understood that the burden carried by the Wisteria bloodline was too immense to be entrusted to an ordinary magical lineage. Any future successor would need a second bloodline strong enough to withstand and stabilize the inherited power of the War Empress. For that reason, Celestine’s future partner had to possess magical potential equal to, or at least capable of harmonizing with, the Wisteria lineage itself. It was during this period that Celestine encountered Lucius, a mage born from a lineage known for wielding an exceptionally rare form of ancient magic called Luminous Aether Magic. Unlike the dominion-based destructive power of Wisteria, Lucius’s bloodline specialized in the control of purified magical energy, aetheric stabilization, and radiant structural manipulation. In ancient magical theory, aether was regarded as the purest state of magical energy, the invisible force believed to sustain magical order throughout the world. Mages capable of manipulating aether were exceptionally rare, as such power required precise control over magical composition itself.Luminous Aether Magic granted Lucius the ability to neutralize magical corruption, stabilize unstable magical fields, purify cursed energy, and reveal hidden magical structures that ordinary mages could not perceive. While Wisteria magic enforced balance through domination and destruction, Lucius’s magic preserved balance through purification and structural restoration. To the elders of House Wisteria, the union between Celestine and Lucius represented an ideal convergence of two ancient principles: destructive authority and restorative equilibrium. Their marriage was viewed not only as acceptable, but as a strategic union capable of producing a successor whose power might surpass previous generations.Yet beyond the logic of bloodline preservation, Celestine and Lucius genuinely came to love one another. Unlike the nobles and military authorities who saw Celestine only as a weapon of war, Lucius recognized the humanity concealed beneath the title of War Empress. Even after their marriage, Celestine continued to serve on the battlefield, maintaining stability whenever large-scale magical conflicts emerged.Their first child was Ignatius Wisteria. From birth, Ignatius was expected to become the next central heir of the family. His magical potential was immediately extraordinary, though it manifested differently from his mother’s lineage. Rather than inheriting Sovereign Umbra, Ignatius developed a unique affinity for atomic-level magical manipulation. His power allowed him to disassemble and reconstruct magical particles, generating destructive force through controlled reactions, radiation, compression, and explosive energy release. This form of magic gave him immense offensive capability and quickly marked him as an exceptional combat mage. However, as Ignatius matured, it became increasingly clear that he had not inherited the core authority of the Wisteria bloodline. The ancient dominion that defined the War Empress lineage never awakened within him. Although his magic was undeniably powerful, it belonged to an entirely different branch of magical evolution. For House Wisteria, this meant that the true successor had not yet appeared. When Celestine later gave birth to her second child, Angeline Wisteria, that truth became immediately undeniable. From the earliest manifestation of her magic, Angeline displayed signs of inheriting both bloodlines simultaneously. She possessed the dominion and destructive sovereignty of Sovereign Umbra, while also carrying traces of Lucius’s aetheric affinity, allowing her magical output to develop far beyond what either lineage alone had previously produced. The result was a child whose magical potential surpassed every expectation held by both families.Celestine understood the cruelty of that reality almost immediately. The child she had quietly hoped would live free from the burden of the Wisteria lineage had instead become the one most deeply bound to it.Meanwhile, Ignatius, once expected to inherit everything, found himself standing outside the destiny that had defined generations before him. Yet despite not inheriting the title of successor, his strength remained extraordinary, and in time his own power would earn him a title feared across the magical world: Atomizer Cane. And beside him, Angeline Wisteria would slowly grow into something even more dangerous than every War Empress who came before her.
